Sopapilla cheese cake is easy to made dessert
which is inspired by Mexican pastry. It is a traditional cake from South
America and New Mexico which comes with various variations such as salty, sweet and
stuffed regional. With different variations in cake one can eat the sweet
version with honey and the salted one with mustard or sauce. This cake is
basically a deep fried pastry with delicious soft filling. It is a 200 year old
recipe which is dipped into black beet sugar, chancaca and cinnamon after sapapillas
is fried.

Ingredients which are required to bake Sopapilla cheese cake include
sugar,

Cinnamon,

Butter,

Vanilla

Dough or ready made crescent
rolls.

Take two packets of
crescent rolls,
·
one cup of sugar,
·
Two packet of cream cheese,
½ cup of melted butter,
·
One tablespoon of vanilla extract
and ¾ cup of cinnamon sugar.
Before preparing the matter preheat the oven at 350 degrees F or 175
degrees C then take a baking pan. On the bottom of the pan lay, one crescent roll
dough and unroll it by using rolling pin. Then beat the cream cheese with
electric mixer along with 1 and a half cup of sugar and vanilla in the bowl
until you will get smooth paste. After spreading the whole paste of cream
cheese evenlyon the top of the crescent roll dough. Pour the melted butter on
the top of the matter and mix half cup of sugar with cinnamon together in other
small bowl. Mix both the ingredients properly then drizzle it over the cake filling.
To add more flavour sprinkle, add some almonds on top of the cake topping and
cover it completely. Put the bowl under the preheat oven to bake the cake for
approximately 30 to 45 minutes until cake turns into golden brown. Take out
cake outside and let it cool completely before cutting the cake into pieces. Store
the cake into the refrigerator to enjoy it fully.
